PhD in Sociology obtained at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of Polish Academy of Sciences in 2000. Participated in the long-run projects on biographic data of the candidates to Ukrainian parliament (2001-2017), in the study of the aspiration toward the future social status (2005-2011), and in the epidemiological studies of vulnerable to HIV populations (2002-2009). Currently is interested in regional studies: in regional political culture and voting patterns, social capital influence on the openness to reforms, and historical legacy effect on attitudes toward private property.
